MAYFLOWER II RESTORATION Fill Her Sails!
Since 1957, an estimated 25 million people have stepped aboard Mayflower II—a full-scale reproduction of the original ship that brought the Pilgrims to these historic shores in 1620. Students and lifelong learners visiting this 'floating classroom' learn about Mayflower's famous passengers, and contemplate the voyage their own ancestors may have taken to America in the past four centuries.
After a three-and-a-half year restoration project, the ship is now better than new. We currently have $800,000 more to raise to ensure that the ship will be seaworthy for another 60 years and continue to educate and inspire future generations.
